Phantasma Labs Lands €2.6M to Scale AI Factory Tool

Berlin-based industrial AI company Phantasma Labs has closed a €2.6 million funding round to keep building its AI-powered production scheduling platform, according to the company's press release. Jet Investment put in €2.1 million through its Jet Venture 1 fund, making it the largest single investor in the round, which also included Lighthouse Seed Fund II and existing backer Momenta Ventures.
Founded in Berlin in 2019, Phantasma Labs builds software that helps factories work out what to produce, when, and on which machine, a puzzle that means juggling thousands of constraints like machine capacity, staffing and deadlines. Many factories still lean on old systems or spreadsheets for this, the company says, and those can take hours to update whenever something goes wrong on the shop floor.
Phantasma's platform, called AiPS, uses reinforcement learning and graph neural networks trained on digital twin simulations to build new production plans within seconds, and it can adjust them on the fly without needing large amounts of historical data.
The company says it has moved past the proof-of-concept stage and is now rolling out its technology with Fortune 500 manufacturers, after running paid evaluations with manufacturers in the US, Europe and Japan.
Jet Ventures Managing Director Kamil Levinský said his firm owns industrial manufacturing companies itself, so Phantasma's software will be tested on Jet's own shop floors too. Phantasma founder and CEO Ramakrishna Nanjundaiah said factories often fail not because a plan was bad, but because it stops being true and nobody can rebuild it fast enough.
With the fresh capital and Jet's industrial network, Phantasma plans to keep expanding adoption of its AI scheduling technology across complex manufacturing environments.
