F13 Launches Vector Graphics AI with Fresh Funding

Berlin-based startup F13 has emerged from stealth with $5 million in pre seed funding to develop AI models for creating precise and editable vector graphics.
According to information published in a recent Tech EU article, the funding round was led by Credo Ventures and Point Nine Capital, with participation from several angel investors. The company was founded by Gregory Janik and Ingimar Tomasson.
F13 is building foundation models that can generate vector graphics from text prompts, images or existing design files. Unlike many image generation tools that focus primarily on creativity, F13 aims to deliver visuals that meet professional requirements for accuracy, proportions and design consistency.
The startup says current AI image models often struggle with technical tasks such as creating data accurate charts, scientific diagrams with correct proportions or graphics that follow established design systems. F13's technology is designed to address these challenges while reducing the time needed to produce visual content.
The company's focus on vector graphics is significant because the format allows designs to scale across different sizes and resolutions while remaining fully editable. Users can continue refining graphics after generation instead of starting over from scratch.
Initial applications include data visualisations, editorial infographics, scientific and educational diagrams, maps, spatial graphics and brand consistent layouts for presentations and marketing materials.
F13 has already launched in early access through a developer API and a web platform. The company plans to use the new funding to bring its first model to market, expand its compute capacity, grow its team and explore new design related applications ahead of a broader public launch later this year.
