Berlin-based venture capital firm Robin Capital has completed the final close of its second €15 million fund, bringing the firm's total capital commitments across two early stage funds to €30 million.
According to information published by EU-Startups, Robin Capital Fund II has already made 17 investments, including SkySpy.ai, Marble Imaging and Helicity Space. The startups operate in areas such as intelligence, defence, Earth observation and space technology.
Founded in 2023 by entrepreneur and investor Robin Haak, the Berlin VC focuses on pre-Seed and Seed-stage startups across Europe. Its investment interests include AI, enterprise software, robotics, defence, space and DeepTech. Initial investments typically range from €100,000 to €600,000.
In a LinkedIn post announcing the final close, Haak highlighted the community behind the fund's growth: “They call it a Solo GP. But none of this has ever been solo.” He also noted that Robin Capital now manages two €15 million funds, three growth SPVs and has participated in 40 co-investments.
The firm's first fund backed startups including Simsalasim, Uvionix, Paypercut and Xaver. Fund II is placing a stronger focus on emerging technologies, particularly AI applications, autonomous systems and space infrastructure. Beyond its core funds, Robin Capital has also launched dedicated growth vehicles supporting ARX Robotics, Almetra and Ground A.
Haak summed up the firm's long term approach in comments shared by EU-Startups: “We want to build a home for exceptional founders, and stay with them long enough to help build exceptional companies.”
The new fund adds to a strong year for European early stage venture capital and underlines Berlin's growing role as a hub for technology investors and ambitious founders.
