Passionfroot, the startup behind a marketplace connecting B2B creators with brands, has closed a $15 million Series A led by Insight Partners, according to a report by TechCrunch.
Rebecca Liu-Doyle of Insight Partners told TechCrunch the timing makes sense: as AI reshapes how B2B brands go to market, companies need creators who can build narratives and educate buyers, while experienced voices are looking for a proper platform to share quality content.
With fresh funding in hand, co-founder and CEO Jen Phan is relocating from Berlin to New York, where Passionfroot is opening a new office to grow its US presence. A São Paulo office is also in the works, and the team, currently 15 people strong, is set to expand.
Phan explained the logic to TechCrunch: AI is flooding every category with new tools, so B2B buyers increasingly turn to LinkedIn posts, newsletters, and YouTube podcasts to find products worth trusting.
The numbers back up the momentum. Revenue grew 13 times over the past year, with clients including ElevenLabs, Figma, Replit, Framer, and Gamma. Since 2024, Passionfroot has also launched Zest, an AI agent that helps brands plan and track campaigns and match with suitable creators. The platform says it has paid out more than $10 million to creators over the last 18 months.
Next up: tools to measure how campaigns affect AI citations and brand visibility in AI generated answers, plus new features to help creators with monetization tips and content ideas.
Existing backers Creandum, Supernode Global, and s16vc also joined the round, pushing Passionfroot's total funding past $21 million.
