INXM secures €5.7M to make AI reliable for industry

Berlin-based startup INXM has closed a €5.7 million pre-seed round and emerged from stealth mode. The round was led by Cherry Ventures and Redstone, with Angel Invest, Linden Capital, and other investors joining. According to the company's press release, the funding will go toward deepening the product and rolling out first enterprise deployments.

INXM's pitch is straightforward: most AI tools produce different outputs every time they run. That makes them hard to audit, hard to hand to a compliance team, and prone to breaking when they meet the messy reality of legacy systems and complex business workflows. INXM wants to fix that with what it calls Compiled AI, an approach that uses AI to design and improve processes and then runs them deterministically. The result, the company says, is repeatable, auditable outcomes every single time.

The core product, Orchestrator, connects existing enterprise platforms such as ERP, PLM, MES, and QMS systems and automates complex workflows across all of them without replacing what companies already have in place. No multi-year implementation, no armies of engineers.

The founding team brings heavy-duty engineering credentials. CEO Alex Oelling, CTO Matthias Kainer, and co-founders Jesper Bylund and Kamil Klüber all have backgrounds in mission-critical systems at companies like Isar Aerospace, Volocopter, n8n, and Thoughtworks. They know what breaks when enterprise AI meets the real world, and they built INXM as their answer to it.

Built in Germany and designed for European governance and data ownership requirements, INXM is aimed squarely at industrial Mittelstand companies that need AI to actually work, not just impress in a boardroom demo.
