Doc Cirrus Joins ETERNO Group to Build AI Health OS

Berlin healthtech company ETERNO is expanding by acquiring Doc Cirrus, a practice management software provider with 15 years of experience in the outpatient care sector. The deal brings together ETERNO's cloud and AI expertise with Doc Cirrus's established platform, which has served as the certified regulatory backbone of ETERNO Cloud for the past five years.
ETERNO, founded in Berlin in 2012, says more than 8,000 doctors already use its practice software, with over 2,000 of them relying directly on ETERNO Cloud. The platform bundles appointment booking, patient intake, documentation, billing and practice management into one system, with automation playing a growing role throughout. CEO Maximilian Waldmann described the acquisition as the biggest strategic step in ETERNO's history so far, bringing an established, profitable and fast growing practice management system together with the company's AI and automation technology.
The stated goal is to build the leading AI native operating system for outpatient care in Germany. For existing Doc Cirrus customers, day to day operations stay the same for now. The familiar software, contacts and support channels remain in place, while new features and integrations are expected to roll out gradually over time.
Doc Cirrus staff are moving over to ETERNO in full, and the combined business will eventually operate under a single ETERNO brand. With a team now around 240 people, ETERNO is positioning itself to compete more directly in Germany's tightly regulated healthcare software market.
