PLACED raises €1.8 million to grow AI staffing platform

Berlin-based staffing technology startup PLACED has completed its first institutional financing round, bringing its total funding to around €1.8 million. According to information provided in the company's press release, the new capital will be used to expand its platform, strengthen sales activities and further develop its data technology.
PLACED is building technology designed to help staffing and recruitment companies place talent more effectively. The company says that many recruitment processes fail because employer demand is difficult to identify, workflows are inefficient and recruiters have limited time for individual consulting.
To address these challenges, PLACED has developed technology that monitors the labor market and collects billions of data points related to job profiles, skills requirements, salaries and benefits. This data helps recruiters identify relevant employers for candidates and better understand hiring demand.
The company is also working on predictive capabilities that could forecast future hiring needs and sought-after qualifications. The goal is to enable recruiters to approach employers before a position is officially advertised.
In addition, PLACED offers software that uses market intelligence and specialized AI agents to automate parts of the recruitment sales process. These AI tools can support tasks such as researching potential employer matches and handling parts of candidate placement workflows. According to the company, this allows recruiters to focus more on advising candidates and employers.
The startup's investor group includes Brandenburg Kapital, Ventic Ventures, Angel Invest, True Growth, Superangels, WorkTech Angels and the Business Angel Club by Board Academy, alongside business angels from the AI and staffing sectors.
