Berlin's space sector has received another boost. German satellite manufacturer Reflex Aerospace announced a planned minority investment from NVIDIA to support the expansion of its production capabilities and the further development of its satellite platform architecture.
According to a company press release, the investment will help Reflex Aerospace scale manufacturing in Bavaria and strengthen its focus on on board processing technologies. The company develops high performance satellite platforms that can be adapted to a wide range of missions, including Earth observation, intelligence, communications and space domain awareness.
The announcement follows Reflex Aerospace's €50 million Series A funding round in November 2025. The company is now moving from its first missions toward constellation scale production. Reflex can typically deliver a first of its kind satellite within nine to twelve months, significantly faster than traditional satellite programs.
Reflex Aerospace says its strategy is designed to support Europe's growing need for sovereign space infrastructure. By focusing on manufacturing and operations in Germany, the company aims to strengthen Europe's independent access to space based intelligence and communications capabilities.
The investment is one of four announced by NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang during his recent visit to Germany. Another investment will go to Berlin based AI startup Mirelo, which develops AI models that generate sound effects, speech and music for videos. NVIDIA is also already an investor in Berlin automation unicorn n8n.
