Phase0 Lands €2.6M to Automate Architects' Admin

Berlin-based Phase0, the cloud software that handles AVA, HOAI and site management for architecture and engineering firms, has closed a €2.6 million funding round, according to a press release from the company. The list of backers is notable: alongside existing investors LocalGlobe and Atlantic, the round brought in Realyze Ventures plus two well-connected business angels, Albert Achammer, CEO of ATP architekten und ingenieure, and Ershad Jamil, formerly Chief Growth Officer at ServiceTitan.
Having a practicing architect like Achammer write a check is a strong signal. Phase0 founder Matthäus Kerres put it bluntly in the release: people running million-euro projects should not be stuck writing invoices in Word on a Sunday afternoon, and the tasks eating up the most time, like bills of quantities, meeting notes and invoice checks, are exactly the ones AI can take over.
That is where the fresh capital is headed. Phase0 already lets users build AI-generated bills of quantities in a chat, checked against VOB and DIN standards, and turns WhatsApp photos and voice notes into site reports automatically. Next up: AI-powered quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, invoice matching, meeting protocols, schedules and a smart inbox for calls, emails and WhatsApp.
The company says it is targeting roughly 110,000 small and mid-sized architecture and engineering firms in Germany, a market still dominated by Windows-only tools like Nemetschek, ORCA AVA and RIB Software. Phase0 currently counts over 1,000 offices as customers, is adding 50 to 100 new ones every month, and holds a 4.8-star Trustpilot rating from 119 reviews.
