Berlin’s OllyGarden Secures $4M for AI Telemetry

---
Berlin-based OllyGarden has secured $4 million in venture capital funding and unveiled a new product designed to improve software telemetry, according to information provided in the company’s press release.
Founded in 2025, OllyGarden develops technology that helps organizations identify and fix poor quality telemetry data before it reaches observability systems. The company says its platform continuously evaluates telemetry quality, detects problems and turns findings into source-level fixes. The goal is to help engineers and AI agents work with reliable data while reducing unnecessary costs linked to storing and processing low quality information.
The funding round was backed by investors including Next Frontier Capital, Grand Ventures and ACTAI Ventures. Existing backers DIG Ventures also increased their investment, while observability companies Datadog, Grafana Labs and Dash0 made additional strategic investments.
Alongside the funding announcement, OllyGarden introduced Minimum Viable Instrumentation (MVI). The new capability expands the role of Rose, the company’s AI OpenTelemetry Engineer. Previously focused on reviewing existing instrumentation, Rose can now identify areas where no instrumentation exists and help teams establish a baseline for collecting essential telemetry data.
According to the company, the approach is designed to prevent organizations from generating excessive telemetry while ensuring critical information is captured. OllyGarden says it has already helped customers identify opportunities to reduce log volumes by up to 85%.
The company works with customers across retail, financial services and enterprise software. With fresh funding and a new product launch, OllyGarden is looking to further address what it sees as a growing challenge: ensuring that engineers and AI systems can rely on accurate telemetry data.
